Review: Love Wishes by Preferred Fragrance; Impression of Peace, Love and Juicy Couture

Okay so I am going to start by saying that I have never smelled Peace, Love and Juicy Couture but I have looked up a ton of reviews on it and have found that not many people enjoy this perfume at all.  I have read reviews that said it smells like deodorant or just too woodsy. I thought I would still review the impression though and let you know what I think of it. I have to say that this is not my favorite “impression” perfume. It really is just not my taste in perfumes. It has a pretty sweet smell but is not as fruity as some of my favorites. It has maybe a hint of florals and what I can only describe as a slight musky scent. This may be something others love but I don’t enjoy very much. It does smell like something I might wear more in the summer time. It does not last an incredibly long time on my skin like some of the others that I have tried. It is more faint and I find that it lasts maybe two or three hours at best. The appearance is probably easily my favorite part of this perfume. It is an adorable glass bottle with a pink ring accent around the top. It has a patterned bottom and a good quality plastic lid. It does not look cheap and is adorable to have out on display in your room like so many of us love to do with our perfumes. It does resemble Peace, Love and Juicy Couture in its shape but does not have the adorable little charm that comes with real perfume. Like I said I am not sure on the resemblance in the scent but please leave a comment if you know if these two smell at all similar. I would love to know. Okay so here are the notes for both perfumes:

Peace, Love and Juicy Couture:

Top notes: Meyer lemon, wild hyacinth, sweet apple and black currant buds absolute

Middle notes: Sambac jasmine absolute, star magnolia, Malibu poppy, honeysuckle and linden blossom

Base notes: iris root extract, patchouli blossom and sensual musk

Love Wishes:

It’s sparkling top note blends the unique freshness of an airy botanical garden peaking with a dominant Chinese ginger flower accord. The body of fragrance blends exotic florals including mountain dew orchid spring mimosa. Warmth is cleverly achieved with a careful blend of soft cashmere woods and ambergris providing long-lasting feminine sensuality

So as you can see they sound different but they may very well produce the right smell. I have been so impressed with some of Preferred Fragrances perfumes and I would not doubt this may smell close to the real thing. I personally think they are great to try out more expensive perfumes before you go out and purchase the expensive versions. I would rather waste $3.50 then $60.00 anyday. I found this one again at Big Lots but they are also at Family Dollar, Rainbow and on Preferred Fragrances website perfumearomatics.com. Rainbow has they 3 for $10 though and has the largest selection. So go check this one out and let me know what you guys think if you smell it.
